This isn’t our culture’s view. “Helping others” is either something you do in your spare time or that you’ll do someday once you’ve achived your definition of success.

“Service” needs a better PR campaign. I prefer to reframe it as my mission, my calling, my vocation. What am I here for? That’s a full-time gig that I can get behind.
