Quite a shocker to read that that ol’ sleazy rascal HR Haldeman was the truth-teller and the Reverend Billy Graham the liar. But, instead of coming clean, we get a mini-sermon at the end of his March 16 statement:
Of greater import or concern than any tapes made in the White House, each of us must face the fact that God has “tapes” that record not only our actions but also our thoughts and our intent. Every moral choice we have ever made is on His “computer.” On the appointed day of God’s judgment there will be nothing in any of our hearts that will not be disclosed.
Which is to say, he’s in deep shit, unless Nixon (Is Rosemary Wood dead yet?) can somehow help out by deleting segments of those heavenly tapes and computer files before God has a chance to take a closer look.
