* Thanks, Acidman, for the Real Joe mention in your March 7 blog entry and your comments here about the impotence article I noted last week. Can you point me to anything in your blog that’s relevant? Anyone else with interesting impotence stories or resources, let me know.
* Mark, you might be accurate in your recollection of Billy Graham’s comments about the Vietnam War but I couldn’t find an exact reference to a prediction either. A Google search on “billy-graham speech vietnam “win the war” brings up plenty of links that are close but not quite.
* lizie and s.m. I can’t say that I remember feeling sad to discover that my dad’s truth wasn’t necessarily so. Just more surprised — a big “aha” that maybe my dad wasn’t all-knowing. And for a young teenager who was scared of him, that was a little embolding.
* Jamie, right, I don’t think God takes sides in wars, or anything else as you seem to. I don’t believe he’s a wizard behind the curtain pulling levers (listen to my January audio essay on the subject – Real Audio stream) but rather a source (force?) for our individual inspiration, guidance and maybe even a variety of healing, as long as we’re open to it, and more so if we’re asking for it and admitting that our mistaken ideas about life might be getting in the way.
