“If I could wish for

“If I could wish for my life to be perfect, it would be tempting but I would have to decline, for life would no longer teach me anything.” – Allyson Jones

I like this perspective. It’s a way of framing all my problems or troubles as life trying to teach me something… and that if I had no problems, I’d be ready for the grave. Some of my current ones are my own making (e.g., financial). Others are just the hand that’s been dealt (e.g., medical). They’re ridiculously insignficant compared to what some others have to face, yet that doesn’t mean they’re unimportant. I like to think of them as pointers that are ‘just right’ for where I’m at. And that there’s a never-ending stream of problems headed my way till I die. Cool.
