Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring–it was peace. – Milan Kundera
I like this quote, since I’ve got an anger problem that gets triggered by our little dog, Cassidy. Becoming aware of this in the past couple of weeks has made me more nurturing towards him. My wife thinks I still tease him too much, but I’ve toned that down too, lately. He snuggles with me whenever I sit on a particular couch. I probably should take him on walks more, just to trigger the experience the peace that the author of the quote talks about.
