I am always doing things I can’t do, that’s how I get to do them. – Pablo Picasso
I’ve had somewhat the same philosophy about jobs for a long time… wanting to do work that I wasn’t really qualified to do because I was interested. It’s why the book What Color is Your Parachute? has appealed to me for so long — it gave me philosophical support for this, plus it gave me strategies for how to go about convincing people to hire me, even when there weren’t any openings.
So being an entrepreneur is more of the same, I guess. I’m not experienced at it. And I’m trying to convince investors to back me.
