This author is using a conventional definition of success – by worldly standards. It makes me think of all the dotcoms who were flying high a year ago… and that if I had been one of them, I’d likely be nothing more than a pile of ashes and with more than a few painful memories. I didn’t pray this prayer back then. I should pray it now, just in case “success” bites me in the ass and I’m not ready for it. ‘Twould be a nice problem to have, I tell myself, but the more I think about it, no it wouldn’t.
