This would normally mean to me that what I do for a job should not be my whole life. “I’m a human being, not a human doing.” But it seems that the more I realize that Real Joe is my calling, it is a big part of who I am; otherwise, it’s just a job or an opportunity or an idea. So not doing Real Joe would be akin to not being who I am.
