If there is a sin

If there is a sin against life, it consists perhaps not so much in despairing of life as in hoping for another life and in eluding the implacable grandeur of this life. Albert Camus

Winter today, in southern Minnesota, is a good example of the implacable grandeur of this life. Another Alberta Clipper is dropping 8 inches of fluffy snow or more and it’s a wonderland. My dad always loved mornings like this and I do, too.

After lunch, I shoveled the driveway and patio. It’s really starting to pile up and our house and lovely town are storybook pretty for Christmas.
